About the Project
A collection of watercolour illustrations capturing the essence of this quintessential English village, West End near Esher, Surrey.This is the village where I grew up, a place that is very special to me; I got married here in the tiny little tin tabernacle church and love attending the annual village Flower Show each August Bank Holiday weekend at which gardeners great and small vye for the coveted title of longest runner bean or heaviest onion, and all eyes are on whose shortbread or Victoria sponge has triumphed in the handicraft classes.
